The AVC6 features a grand concert body shape with a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides with an open pore finish. The soundhole is round with a herringbone rosette. It has a soft-V-shaped mahogany neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with gold mother-of-pearl dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a rosewood bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, and antique chrome Ibanez-covered tuning machines with small oval buttons.

The AVD6 is a similar model with a dreadnought body shape and slightly longer scale neck. The AVC9 is a related model with a solid Thermo-Aged mahogany top among other differences. The AV5C is a related model with a slotted headstock and black finish.
