Ibanez classical guitars take the guesswork out of finding an affordable, great-sounding classical guitar that's easy to fret and play. Whether you are looking for a traditional classical-sized instrument or a comfortable nylon-string beginner guitar, they are extremely well-constructed, affordable and have the pristine tonality and playability of much more expensive instruments.

The GA6CE features a classical body with a Venetian cutaway and a laminated spruce top with fan bracing on the mahogany back and sides with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a classical mosaic decal rosette. It has a mahogany neck with a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard. Components include an ivory plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge, a plastic nut, gold classical tuning machines, and coated nylon strings. Electronics consist of an Ibanez under-saddle pickup mated to an AEQ45 preamp with 4-band EQ powered by a 9V battery, and ¼" stereo output.

Purpleheart bridge

The Purpleheart bridge transfers string vibration directly to the body, delivering a natural and warm tone.

PREAMP

The neck side of the preamp is the top of the control panel. There is one button and three knobs along the top of the control panel. The button furthest to the left is the tuner on/off switch. To the right of that are the bass, treble, and volume knobs.
