The Ibanez SR1425B-CGL is a five-string electric bass guitar with a flamed maple top and African mahogany body. It has a 5-piece bolt-on neck made of panga panga and purpleheart, a flamed maple fingerboard with blue oval inlays, and a scale of 864 mm (34 in).
The guitar also features:
- Two Nordstrand Big Break Humbuckers, one for the neck and one for the bridge
- Ibanez Custom electronics with an active 3-band EQ
- Volume, balance, bass, middle, and treble controls
